    central location
    delicious breakfast
    small bathroom
    credit card issue

The location in Centro Historico was perfectly situated near the main square, shops, and restaurants. Each morning, I enjoyed a delightful breakfast that featured freshly blended tropical juices like maracuya and guanábana, along with cooked-to-order fried eggs and bacon. The room itself was well-appointed and quiet, creating a comfortable retreat after busy days exploring Quito. However, the bathroom was on the smaller side, which felt cramped. Additionally, one evening the credit card machine at reception malfunctioned, leading to some unnecessary stress as I was urged to withdraw cash instead of resolving the issue promptly. Overall, the attentive staff made the difference, always eager to assist, especially when arranging my tours.

    A hidden gem in Quito

The decor throughout the hotel created an inviting ambiance that made me feel like I was in a treasure trove of Ecuadorian art. The breakfasts were simply delightful with the freshest juices.

While my stay was mostly enjoyable, the bathroom in my room felt a bit cramped, which could be uncomfortable for extended stays.

    great location
    charming ambiance
    flexible staff
    small bathroom

My three-night stay at El Relicario Del Carmen was exceptional. The location, right off Plaza Grande, was ideal for exploring the city. Each morning, I enjoyed a great breakfast, complete with freshly prepared locally inspired dishes. The staff were delightful and flexible, accommodating my request for an early packed breakfast. The hotel itself was charming, with a beautifully decorated ambiance, and I found my room to be spacious and quiet.

    The bathroom was somewhat small.

    Charming Historic Stay

This place had a really cozy vibe, especially with all the beautiful art around the hotel. The staff was super friendly, making sure I had everything I needed. I loved sipping on fresh juice at breakfast, but the wifi connection was a bit sketchy sometimes. Otherwise, it was a solid stay while exploring Quito!

great stay but slight room for improvement

The staff provided exceptional service, always attentive and accommodating.
