I recently stayed at Hotel El Relicario Del Carmen for a week while exploring the historic center. The location was perfect, just a block from Plaza Grande. The staff was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to help. The rooms were comfortable, albeit small, and faced the interior halls, making them very quiet. The hotel was filled with amazing antiques, adding to its unique charm. The breakfast was delicious, with options like eggs, bread, juice, and coffee/tea. The hotel also provided complimentary water bottles upon request. The WiFi was reliable, and the showers, although small, had hot water with decent power.
Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.
